8th Annual Burn-Out Poker Run 

The 8th annual burn-out poker run will be on Saturday, September 11, 2010.

This year, your participation will help Angel Faces"Angel Faces is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide healing retreats designed to inspire adolescent girls with severe facial disfigurements, to achieve their optimal potential, develop meaningful relationships for themselves, their families, and their communities."

"Established in 2003, Angel Faces is an innovative healing retreat for adolescent girls with facial disfigurements. This unique retreat focuses on the healing process within a holistic framework of mind, heart and spirit. The end result is a new and hope filled start for the girls who leave the retreat with skills and tools to create the life they want and to over overcome the challenges of living with a facial disfigurement."

"Adolescent girls with facial differences often live a life of rejection, staring, teasing in school and unwanted questions.  Many children with facial disfigurement are socially stigmatized, ostracized and shamed because the disfigurement in their appearance."

Our poker run will be starting at Moto Adventure at 6385 Byrd Dr in Loveland (this is out by the Loveland/Ft Collins airport).  It is between the Crossroads exit and the Windsor exit west of  I-25.  Registration is between 8:30am and 10am and the first bike will leave after the National Anthem at 10.  We will then head up to Drake on Hwy 34 and the first stop will be at The Big Thompson Canyon Volunteer Fire Department station 8.  From there, we head up to Masonville to Nostalgic West Leathers, then to Loveland's Old Chicago at 1436 Hans Peak Dr (just north of Hwy 34), then to Sonny's Country Cafe in Severance (1018 Mahogany Way, 80546).  From there, we will finish up at Old Chicago in Ft Collins on Harmony and Timberline for food, games, prizes and FUN! High hand/low hand prize will be $350/$150 respectively.  We have also added a "surprise cash prize" possible at each stop.  Once again, we will have a professional photographer at the registration to get a picture of you, your group, your bike, ... (for a small fee) and the developed photos will be at the finale for you to take home.
