History
W&F MC: Wind & Fire MC is a united group of firefighters who ride Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. Presently we have over 3,900 members and 153 chapters. We have members living in 49 states and 22 countries. Wind & Fire MC has a
secondary focus which is charity. W&F MC was founded in April of 1991 Wind & Fire was founded by Jerry Eibert, a 30 year veteran firefighter and a member of I.A.F.F. Local #2046, Jerry lives in Santa Barbara California and as member #1, signed John Denning member #2 and with this Wind & Fire MC was born. W&F Club Runs: The club annually organizes over a dozen charity motorcycle events, which primarily benefit children - burn injured children, kids with cancer, needy kids at Christmas and children in the hospital. W&F MC operates a unique run, it's Burn Camp Run, in which members ride to summer camps for burn injured children. Presently eight of these runs are in existence.
TMW&F: Thunder Mountain Wind & Fire chapter 81 was established in September 2002. We are made up of members from Berthoud Fire Department, Big Thompson Canyon Fire Department, Kersey Volunteer Fire Department, Livermore Volunteer Fire Department, Loveland Fire Rescue and Poudre Fire Authority. We currently have 27 members. Our chapter has incorporated and we are a 501c3. We host a poker run every September (the Saturday nearest to September 11th) for Angel Faces. We historically give away prizes worth thousands of dollars and auction off some of the big ticket items. |
